George C. McCabe, CPA
George McCabe joined the firm as an Advisor in early 2017 and stepped into his role as President in the fall of 2022. As a second-generation member of the McCabe family representing the firm, George is proud to be a part of a 40-year legacy committed to helping individuals navigate their financial lives and is determined to not only maintain that legacy but expand it over the next forty years.
George received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame in 2017. During his collegiate years, George completed an experience as an auditor during an internship at Ernst & Young. After graduating, George immediately went on to pursue his Certified Public Accounting designation while working at McCabe & Associates, Inc.
George specializes in working with both ultra-high net worth retirees and the children of those retirees. Working across these demographics has shown him the importance of understanding inter-generational differences when it comes to retirement planning and goal setting. Developing a strong understanding of an individual’s relationship with their money, figuring out how this relationship affects financial behaviors, and ultimately how changing some of these behaviors can lead to achieving financial goals is a strong part of George’s philosophy. The recognition that no financial plan is the same is a large part of why George believes the role of a financial advisor is still vital today.
George currently resides in the city of Chicago with his wife Kelly where they enjoy spending time with their family and friends.
