Julia Slobodnik, Financial Advisor

Julia Slobodnik joined McCabe & Associates in 2026. She previously worked at a large financial institution specializing in retirement planning and is excited to be part of a tight-knit firm that prioritizes strong client relationships and personalized financial strategies to help clients achieve their goals.

Julia graduated from the University of Illinois with a bachelor’s degree in financial planning from a CFP® Board Registered Program. During her time at Illinois, she had the opportunity to learn from and engage with experienced industry professionals. Her passion for financial planning was strengthened through hands-on learning and mentorship from professors with real-world planning experience.

Following graduation, Julia joined Equitable Advisors as part of their retirement benefits group. In this role, she worked closely with teachers, educating them about their pension systems and helping them establish supplemental retirement accounts. She values the meaningful support she provides to clients and takes pride in the positive impact she has on their financial futures. Julia is currently completing the extensive training and experience requirements to earn her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification through the CFP Board.

Julia grew up in Tinley Park and now lives in Chicago. She enjoys staying active with her Cavapoo, Polly, and exploring different restaurants and experiences throughout the city.
